$1.125 MILLION SETTLEMENT FOR BRICK MAN IN MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH*
A Brick Township man received $1.125 million for injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident. The man was operating his Honda Accord on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant, when his car was struck on the driver’s side by another driver who had lost control of his Honda.
The man, who was 55 years old at the time of the accident, suffered severe injuries to his right shoulder, neck and back. He sustained cervical disc herniations at C3-4, C5-6 and C6-7 for which he underwent four epidural injections followed by a cervical fusion from C5 through C7. The man’s lower back injuries consisted of lumbar disc herniations at L4-5 and L5-S1, requiring three epidural injections and two trigger point injections, followed by L4-L5 and L5-S1 lumbar fusions.
