Thomas J. Gironda, Esq.,

Thomas J. Gironda, Esq., engages in a variety of corporate and transactional practice areas, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, venture capital and private equity, securities and security offerings, privacy matters, executive compensation, and commercial contracts, among other transactional matters. Additionally, Mr. Gironda has experience serving as outside general counsel for a variety of businesses.

Mr. Gironda graduated with honors from Clemson with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. He graduated with his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2019 where he served as president of the Environmental Law Society and Sports Law Society. There he participated in two semesters of the noted Community Law and Small Business Clinic, where he helped local residents with ideas for small businesses, putting together the corporate governance and financing necessary to start their businesses. Upon graduating, Mr. Gironda returned to New Jersey and completed a clerkship for the Honorable Kathleen A. Sheedy, P.J.F.P./J.S.C. and aided in her transition from presiding judge, family part, to the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Monmouth County Vicinage.

Prior to joining Maggs McDermott & DiCicco, Mr. Gironda practiced at a boutique outside general counsel law firm in Morris County, a nationally-ranked AmLaw firm in Newark and New York City, and a general practice firm in Monmouth County. Mr. Gironda has extensive experience handling matters throughout the corporate lifecycle, from incorporation to dissolution. Mr. Gironda strives to provide clients with the most practical and efficient resolutions possible.

Mr. Gironda was admitted to the New Jersey State bar in 2019, and is currently a member of several professional associations including the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Monmouth County Bar Association, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
